Weinhaus Henninger in Kallstadt

We ordered a goose with side dishes last weekend. The quality and the preparation were great. Picking up the goose in your own roaster is uncomplicated. It's nice that something is offered here despite lockdown!

Stayed there for a couple of nights a couple of years ago. Nice rooms, good food, good wine and lots to discover in the area. Hope to mound again soon

We celebrated our wedding on September 26th, 2020 at Weinhaus Henninger. Despite the circumstances, the celebration was a very successful one from start to finish! Already at the planning stage, we were given the feeling of absolute professionalism paired with warmth and friendliness. The wedding day itself was characterized by a wonderful ambience, absolutely golden and professional staff and a 4-course menu that I couldn't have wished for better. The end of the day was the beautiful rooms with a delicious breakfast for us and the company. I would recommend the location anytime and we will definitely celebrate our first wedding anniversary there with delicious food and good wine! Tanja Ringsisen

rude service. Waited 20 min. at the table without receiving a menu. After two tables were served in front of us that came after us, we made the waitress aware of this. When the waitress (dark long hair, slim figure) came up with the menu, instead of an apology, there was a snotty and unfriendly comment.

Great hotel and very courteous service. The rooms are spacious and modernly furnished. We got a room facing the main street, which was just too loud for us with the window open. On request we could choose another room directly. Super and uncomplicated! Otherwise everything was perfect. Great central location, easy parking. We didn't use the restaurant, but it looked very inviting. A clear recommendation for the area.

Typical dishes from the Palatinate! A lot of sausage and meat dishes on the menu, but also Wiener schnitzel with potato salad. There isn't a lot of choice for vegie's .... In terms of taste, all products were delicious. A typical dish at Weinhaus Henninger is e.g. the black pudding tart or the "Pfalglück" consisting of sauerkraut with black pudding, bratwurst, liver dumplings and saumagas. You really have to like it! The wine selection was lovely too. Well-trained staff, very attractive inner courtyard and beautiful terrace.

Very nice hotel, great wines, great service

After 30 years it seems it was our last visit. We had reserved the inner courtyard. When we arrived we were brought through the inner courtyard with empty tables to the external terrasse. I was ready to go and we should have. After ordering it took ages. The starter arrived (Potato Soup). After the starter nothing happened. After having asked why it takes so long we received a amuse-bouche from the kitchen. The very same potato soup, just in smaller quantity. It got dark and no sign from our main dishes. Once it was really dark our dishes arrived. But the terrasse has no light at all installed at the tables. But there was not much great to discover. Yes nice for the calf liver with cherry sauce. On the other side the large portion of pork cheeks looked very little in the darkness. Thanks for having offered the espresso. Sorry, but I can only say very disappointed. The second star is for the cherry sauce.

A great location to celebrate. Very nice and courteous staff. Food is sensational. Great feel-good ambience. We would celebrate there again at any time.

Great food and great service! We have eaten there several times. Whether as a couple or with family, it was always nice there. The waitresses are always very friendly and you get the impression they like to work there. The food is adapted to the seasons and has always been very tasty. Everyone should also find something they like on the wine list. The decor is rather rustic and the restaurant looks very small, but you still feel comfortable there and can enjoy your food. Prices are quite reasonable too!

The food is excellent, fresh, creative, well presented. The service is very attentive & friendly. The ambience is simply successful, a perfect combination of old and appropriately modern. The wine list ... if you can't find anything here, it's strange ;-)

As always, we ate and drank very well here, very good service, everything perfect! The only downside was that the butter was charged for bread. I would like this to be included in a house like Henninger, especially since the four of us ate more than well ...

Very nice hotel. Rooms are large, bright and kept very clean (look like renowated not long ago). Everything around the hotel is kept tidy and well maintained. Parking is available for guests at the back. Very good restaurant!! I enjoyed my stay there.

Food at reasonable prices

Food was not bad. Female service was a desaster. Very stroppy and when following situation happened: guest said: “excuse me” (to the waiter) the female service responded: “yes I heard you” (evil looking face) and very cheeky, can’t believe it still. They wer not very nice to me either. The male waiter was excellent still. Come on guys that’s not how service works! 30/6/2019 5PM

Beautiful little hotel with large beautifully decorated rooms, a fantastic breakfast. The vineyards start right behind the house and invite to long walks.

Evaluation only for the restaurant or barrique cellar as part of the champagne menu carried out by the wine house: Very friendly welcome from the hostess and the staff present or assigned and during the course of the evening you were always served very warmly. The food was great! Food was warm, plates too - at least the ones for warm dishes ... 😉 The ambience in the cellar is very nice, lighting with lots of candles ensures a cozy environment. All in all, great class. I have to book myself into the house and take a good look at it. Plenty of parking spaces are available directly at the house - if that's not enough, there are other options in town, if a few meters of movement after a hearty meal is not too much ... 😉 Otherwise, a walk into the vineyards that begin directly behind the house is recommended anyway. 😊

An experience to do in this goose season. The quality of the menu, the sympathy of the service as well as the frame, everything stuck. I recommend this high class restaurants to people who want to pay for a good restaurant with good value. Good appetite for you.

Traditional outside, bit modern and clean inside. This was ideal combination. Restaurant was good for breakfast and dinner. Staff was friendly. It was difficult to complain anything
